Medical Scribe / Clinical Documentation Specialist

A respected medical clinic with over 45 years of patient care is seeking a Medical Scribe to support physicians with documentation, patient coordination, and communication.
Our practice treats patients from across the United States and internationally, providing the opportunity to work with complex and fascinating medical cases.
This role is ideal for someone interested in healthcare, medicine, or patient education who wants hands-on exposure in a professional medical environment.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1-hour lunch break
- No weekends
Pay:
Key Responsibilities
Medical Scribing:
- Document physician-patient encounters during appointments
- Assist with follow-up visit documentation in office and via telehealth
- Prepare medical notes and records accurately and efficiently
Patient Coordination:
- Record new patient histories
- Confirm laboratory testing and communicate results to patients
- Provide and explain laboratory testing kits
Administrative Support:
- Assist physicians with letters, reports, and medical documentation
- Communicate with patients by phone and email
- Support documentation related to disability claims when needed
Qualifications:
- Typing speed of 50 WPM or higher
- Strong writing and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and able to multitask in a clinical environment
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred.
