About the Job
IV Technician.
North Charleston, SC.
$20 per hour | Full-Time.
Join a respected medical clinic that has been serving patients for over 45 years. We are looking for an experienced IV Technician / Phlebotomist who enjoys working closely with patients and being part of a supportive healthcare team.
Unlike high-volume lab environments, this position allows you to spend meaningful time with patients while providing important wellness treatments. On average, you will work with 5–20 patients per day, allowing you to focus on quality care and patient experience.
This is a stable weekday position with no weekend work.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday.
- 1-hour lunch break.
- Day shift.
- No weekends.
Pay:
- $20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy and assist with IV therapy treatments under physician supervision.
- Mix and administer various IV treatments (training provided).
- Assist patients with oxygen and oxygen multi-step therapy.
- Monitor and record vital signs including pulse, blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
- Answer patient questions regarding lab testing and test kits.
- Assist the front office with patient calls and scheduling when needed.
- Support physicians during appointments with scribing and documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous phlebotomy experience required.
- Experience with IV therapy or strong venipuncture skills preferred.
- Strong patient care and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a clinical environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Comfortable using computers including Microsoft Word and Excel.
